Protection of Capital
Global Markets takes the safety of your account and funds extremely seriously. The broker has implemented several rigorous security layers to protect your capital and personal data.
The platform employs Negative balance protection – a security policy which prevents traders from losing more money than they have deposited into their account. This policy makes it impossible for you to owe money to the broker due to the leverage of a trade gone bad, and your account balance can never go below zero.
All data related to your account – including account transactions, balance, trading history, and more – is stored on encrypted in-house servers. Two-factor-authentication layer is also available as an opt-in option – if you enable it through the preferences panel, each time you try to log in into your account, you will receive a secret code on your mobile device you will need to enter (in addition to your password).
All Global Market trading accounts are segregated, and your funds are kept separate from company funds. This means your money will never be misidentified and funds ownership can be easily restored in the unlikely event things go awry. Segregated accounts also dissuade scammers from joining the platform, which helps its reputation.
Rookie traders who opt in for Global Markets can take advantage of its thorough trading academy. The library offers access to tons of learning resources – e-books, video tutorials, and other materials. The topics covered range from CFDs and Forex trading, to advanced finance and cryptocurrency. The academy is a great way for beginners to gather all the knowledge they need before they start trading with real money.
